HISTORY
The Emerald Bowls Club was formed on 30th October 1949 with the first bowls being rolled on 23th July 1950, however it was not until March 1952 that the green was officially opened.
The earliest Clubhouse in 1950 was built in the finest bush traditions – ironbark posts and corrugated iron

The Emerald Bowls Club is home to the Emerald RSL Sub Branch, which meets in the clubhouse. We offer a warm welcome to veterans in the local area and encourage visiting veterans and members or former members of the ADF to visit the Emerald Bowls Club and enjoy the facilities our display cabinets which house memorabilia for viewing. As well as enjoy the facilities of the Bowls Club.
